Junichi Hara

A young man who shared the same burning love for the sea as his father. Junichi used to be a spirited child who would often smile a lot, but his world came crashing down once his father had passed. Adult responsibilities were forced onto him at an early age as he was forced to withdraw from high school to work despite being a fairly proficient student and soccer player. Having no life or a foreseeable future, he followed a rough crowd, rarely came home, frequently argued with his mother, and took up smoking like his father had. Despite all this, he never abandoned his responsibilities.

Once learning that his mother had died trying to find him in the Miyako Tsunami, as an atonement, he took it upon himself to turn his life around and dedicate himself to his younger sister at his expense. His happiness was of no importance.
