Junichi Hara's Updated Concept

Hello everyone! I've updated the concept of Junichi Hara, a main character of my comic whom I've been pretty quiet about from all the posts up to now so far. The problem was trying to conceptualize his character and to create a design that would best suit his character. Anyway, here is the updated concept art:

"Junichi is Mitsuru's oldest and only blood-related sibling. The story behind Junichi and Mitsuru was their early separation as children, the subsequent reunion following the death of their father and the detachment from their disconnected mother. The death of his father would hit Junichi the hardest and the experiences afterward would make him who he is as a character. 

He is the prominent male figure of the comic, but will seldom have his interaction with the other main cast. His segment in the story will be a deviation from the girls, and will either be interwoven or spun off. To make this point more clearer, he will have his group of friends and Mitsuru will have her group of friends and the comic will be divided among the two groups. 

To describe his character, he is an introverted and peaceful guy who frequently reflects upon things and enjoys the littler things in life. 

His main flaw would be his overt self-reliance and need to solely bear the responsibilities of sustaining both himself and his sister at his expense. His nonchalance and self reliance is a guise to hide his fears and weaknesses. I've always admired strong and masculine characters and have always wanted to develop one all on my own."

I'm planning on doing some minor redesign with the characters in the future. Some of you may have seen Ellie Ann's change in the concept art tab. I also plan on practicing on drawing environment, so those will be what's to come.
